C H A R A C T E R  D E V E L O P M E N T

For the wives character we have casted a girl called Ophelia Chidgey. She is a school friend of Millies and mine. Our reasons for casting her is because she physically is what we were looking for. She 5ft2, skinny, petite and very beautiful. She has long brown hair which gives us the option of hair styles, so we can do different styles for the wedding scene (scene one) and then the abusive scene (scene two). She is eighteen years old, which means we are able to dress her up slightly with the use of make up and clothing to make her look older. She is well spoken and clearly is a well kept person making her the perfect wife and actress. 

For the actor who will be playing the husband, i have asked a friend of mine called Henry Burgoyne-Probyne. Henry is around 6ft tall, physically fit and good looking. The height and his physical state gives him strength over ophelia who is very petite. Another good thing about Henry is he can grow facial hair, our aim is therefore for him to grow facial hair for the abusive scene and shave it all off for the wedding scene. He is 30 years old, so there is a noticeable age gap between himself and Ophelia, which works well, because she's the younger, beautiful wife, that he can show off which leads on to possessiveness. Why he may be so possessive and protective of her, scared he may loose her to someone else or may even be worried he may never ever find someone as beautiful as her.

Lastly we do have a third actor, but this actor will not be seen, only heard. Therefore i feel there is no need for a character profile for this actor just a simple description of what we want them to sound like and their gender:

We want a middle aged female voice, that is well spoken, matured, kind nurturing voice, but also needs to sound concerned at the same time.
