In class we were given a task to look at different types of genres, each person looked at a different genre and then presented their chosen genre to the class. I found this task useful so we could all give each other ideas and inspiration for our upcoming film we are going to make. Below I am the stating the two genres that inspired us:

Mollie Green chose to do the Drama Genre:

Millie and I were inspired by this powerpoint it helped that it was very detailed so gave us a wide range of information about the sub-genres. We saw this genre as a good option because it would fit well into our budget and guidelines and would also fit in well with the horror genre as we plan to entwine the two together.

The second person who inspired us was Dan Offer and he chose to do the Horror Genre:

Millie and I were inspired by Dans presentation because it had great detail explaining to us exactly what the horror genre is all about. It also made it clear to us that we could incorporate horror and drama together and still be able to stay in our budget.
