QUESTIONNAIRE

We started off the questionnaire, with the question ^ what is your gender? There was a few more males than female but there was plenty of each to get a good range of answers.

Then we moved onto asking what the persons favourite film was:

We asked people what their favourite film because we wanted to find out what our target audience likes and dislikes are so that we will therefore have some influence on how we should do our project. All the films that have been stated above have some form of drama in them. Although the story line may be different the structure can be similar in ways.

Next question up was: What is your favourite film genre?:

We decided to then go on and ask what the persons favourite genre was. We did this because we wanted to see how popular are chosen genre was and if our results had come out differently we may have even changed our genre. 

Do you like drama films?

We wanted to find out specifically if our target audience would enjoy our target genre- Drama. We were pleased with the results we received, as shown on the graph the majority of the people do enjoy drama films, only a few said no and the rest said sometimes.

Is the opening credits important to the film?

I was happy with this result because more people said yes than no, although it was disappointing how close the results were.

  

Do you read the credits when they're on the screen?

This result was disappointing but we will still be putting credits in our project.

Whats your favourite film opening?

We wanted to find out what our target audiences favourite film openings are so that we could research these to see the sort of things we could include in ours.

Do you feel music is an important element of the film's opening?

We wanted to find out how important our target audience find music in the film opening to give us a guild line on how much we should concentrate on it. Clearly the results showed us music is a very key feature, so we will make sure enough time is put into it.

We wanted to get the majority of our results from people in the age range of 16-21 as thats are target audience. We managed to achieve this.
